Help your friends with chores

We may all have friends who have (had) hard times.
And I’m sure each of us is happy to step into the breach when these friends need us. We probably tell them (often more than once) : “Be sure to let us know if we can help” …
BUT there it this … your friends are not likely to ask you for anything.
So next time you know your friends are having a hard time, don’t wait for them to ask, just go there: armed with your cleaning supplies, your tools, your pruning shears or your iron (don’t forget the aperitif ;-)) and don’t let them put you off!
Tip for today
Don’t wait for your friends to ask, help them with household chores when they are struggling. Also when everything is going well, you can go and do some cleaning or other chores – as a surprise.
I read about 4 girlfriends who get together at someone’s house every month for an afternoon of chores. Together they do the chores that are too hard to do alone (shifting cabinets), too boring, too emotional, take too much time alone, for the jobs you never get around to or things the others are better at…
By doing it together and with some good music playing in the background, it all becomes much more fun (frankly, in these days this sounds like a great party to me!)
Not only are chores around your house actually getting done, but since your girlfriends/friends have usually a more critical eye on all your beloved items, they will help you with ‘really‘ cleaning up.
