You certainly have warm clothes at home that you don’t wear anymore. A warm scarf, thermal underwear, gloves, …..
Tip for today
Collect warm clothes, put it in a backpack and give it to a homeless person. They certainly can use it in this kind of weather.
The easiest way is to hand it over to a shelter or to one of the initiatives that collect clothes for the homeless.
But handing your warm clothes personally to someone, gives you the warm feeling of giving. And if you manage to have a chat with that person, showing that you care, chances are you will not only offer them some warmth for their body but also a little warmth in their heart.
According to the homeless shelters, these items are appreciated the most:
- Adult raincoats and foldable ponchos.
- Winter shoes
- Jogging pants.
- (Fleece) blanket
- Sleeping bags.
- Roller case.
There are good people in the world, as you can see in this clip…
