Alan Alexander Milne first wrote about Pooh and his friends in 1926. The characters were inspired by his own son Christopher Robin Milne and his stuffed animals.
Milne wrote four books featuring the lovable bear. Disney acquired the rights in 1961 and produced more books, films, TV shows, dolls, board games — you name it. Throughout all these versions, one thing has remained consistent: Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore and the rest of the Hundred Acre Wood gang are much wiser that you’d expect from animals whose heads are stuffed with cotton.

They come in 2 versions (English and Dutch). The originals are obviously in English and in my humble opinion, they are better sounding than the Dutch translation.
