Fortunately, the lockdown has been over for a while now and we can once again invite friends to watch movies, soccer or fun series together.
But if, for some reason, you can’t be together physically or your home is too small to invite all your friends, it is now possible, thanks to technology, to watch together and hear all the comments, each from the comfort of their own couch. You feel connected even though you are not sitting together.

Gelukkig ligt de lockdown al een tijdje achter ons en mogen we weer gezellig bij elkaar thuis op de zetel ploffen en samen films, voetbal of leuke series zien.
Maar lukt het om een of andere reden toch niet om fysiek samen te zijn, kan je nu, dankzij de technologie, toch samen kijken en elkaars commentaar lezen elk vanuit zijn/haar eigen zetel. Je voelt je verbonden, ook al zit je niet samen.

How to do this in synch, laugh and talk with each other?
Netflix Party.
With Netflix Party you look at exactly the same content in sync and you can chat with each other in the chat box at the same time. If someone needs to go to the toilet or grab extra snacks in between, the movie can also be paused synchronously so no one misses anything. It is a requirement that everyone has a Netflix account and has Netflix Party installed.
Watch2Gether
With Watch2Gether you don’t have to register or sign in with a social media account. As a user you immediately go to a virtual room where you can invite friends by sending them a link. The chatbox is simple with fun options including video calling. It is not possible to use Netflix in this app.
TwoSeven
This app was developed by a couple with a long-distance relationship. TwoSeven works directly from your browser. Log in with your facebook or google account or create a profile on the website. Conversations with each other can be made via chat, audio and video calls… This app is ideal for YouTube and Video viewers.
