Offer to take the picture

Sometimes you see people in the craziest poses to take the perfect selfie.

Recently, I saw a group youngsters who tried to stretch their arms beyond normal, to fit everybody on the picture.  I was in a hurry, but bearing in mind my tips, I offered to help them.

They looked at me like I was from another planet. That was just the whole set-up: the idea was to get them all to pose in the weirdest positions. They insisted on taking the selfie themselves.

Still, I assume that most will be relieved when you suggest taking the selfie for them.

Tip for today
If you see someone whose arms are not long enough to take their much sought after selfie, suggest that you will do it for them.

Did you know that it is illegal to pull selfies with wild animals?

I read this on the BBC website.
In New York State, it is illegal to draw selfies with tigers and wild cats. This ban came after 1 in 10 photos of men on the online dating app Tinder was a selfie with a tiger or lion!

These selfies would encourage people to exploit these beautiful willed cats.

The IUCN (International Union for conservation of Nature) also prohibits scientists from taking selfies with the animals they are studying.  They must stay at least 7 meters away from a primate if they want to distribute the photo to the general public.

So be warned…
