Stop for pedestrians

A pedestrian must use a zebra crossing if it is within 30 meters of the place where he/she wants to cross the road and has right of way (unless otherwise regulated by traffic lights).
So as a driver you have to stop anyway.
But a pedestrian who wants to cross the lane at a place where there is no zebra crossing has to give way to vehicles.
Tip for today
Stop when you see pedestrians wanting to cross the street – even if they want to cross where there is no zebra crossing.
This duck mama lost some of her chicks while crossing over. See how police officers make every effort to find them again.
Stopping for pedestrians at the busiest intersection in the world is slightly different than in our cities….
