We adopted our Flo from a shelter. I saw first hand the efforts and the struggles these people do everyday with limited resources. Their passion and love for animals is admirable.
One way you can help them is by volunteering, but you can also support them in other ways: by bringing warm blankets (see this previous post), animal toys, (unopened) animal food or a donation.
Because of the C-measures, it can be a bit more difficult to go there yourself. It may be best to check in your area yourself. But in many supermarkets there are collection boxes for the local animal shelter.
Tip for today
Show your support and donate (animal) food to a shelter in your area.
Or maybe you can go a little further and not only bring food of do a donation, but adopt a dog or cat…
