Collect rain water for your plants

If you want to make your plants happy, give them rainwater :-).

Collecting rainwater is good for your plants:

• It contains hardly any lime. That is why rainwater is better for plants and does not leave white rings on pots.
• Because it is low in minerals, there is also less chance of brown stains on the leaves.

But not only is it better for your plants, but using rainwater for your plants and lawn has many other benefits:

• Less groundwater is extracted.
• You save on your water bill (applies especially to underground tanks).
• The impact on the sewers is reduced.

You can collect the water in a rain barrel, in a basin, pond, wadi, gravel pit, lowered green strip or in a ditch in the garden.
But if you really want to get really serious, you can opt for an underground collection tank.
