Agree with the other

How often do you put your energy into defending your opinion, proving your ‘right’ or proving someone else’s ‘wrong’?  Proving your right seems like a useful activity. That’s logic,  when you are right you feel good.

But is it always worth it? How do you feel when someone corrects you, when someone constantly points out inaccuracies in your statements? Indeed, that feels like failure.

Give yourself and the world a break. Ask yourself: Is it really that important to let everyone know that they are wrong? What’s in it for you?

Tip for today:
Save your energy and once in a while – when it’s not vital – just say: “yes, you’re right”.

Not only do you prevent useless discussions, but you also leave the other person in his or her worth.
