Start your (Christmas) dinner with a round of compliments

Start you dinner with complimets

At Christmas dinners across the world, families will take a few moments today to pause and pray before devouring the feast before them.

The custom of praying over a meal is an ancient tradition of our ancestors (even long before Jesus) to show gratitude for their food and their blessings.

I don’t know about you, but in our family we stopped praying over meals long time ago. Probably because it was too ritualistic, lacked authenticity and felt like repeating the same thing every time.

However, starting your meal with positivity and a few moments to pause and reflect before attacking, will bring undeniably some heartwarming energy to the table.

So if you do not like to take a moment to pray, give it another twist. Take a moment to give compliments to your dinner companions.

Tip for today
Today (or any other day) start your meal with a round of compliment. Let every one at the table say something nice about the person next to him/her, give a sincere compliment. I am sure this will start your meal with a smile and joyous energy.

And to end your meal with a smile wish everybody Hara Hachi Bu 😉
