Volunteer your time

As bad as this sounds, but for some people, every sunrise means a new day of hardship and struggle.
If we can make that day a little better for that person, through whatever support we can provide, it’s 100% worth it.
Of course, you can always give money, which is greatly appreciated anyway. And it’s often the easiest thing to do, especially when we have surpluses of our own. But it doesn’t give you the satisfaction of rolling up your sleeves yourself.
Research shows that participating in volunteer work makes us happier, evokes gratitude, promotes social engagement and lowers our stress levels. All things that improve our overall health and make our lives better.
Tip for today
Find a local charity (in every community there are those in need – humans or animals) and go help out. One day can already make a difference!
At the end of the day you will probably be very tired, but I am sure you fall a sleep with a satisfied smile on your face.
