Do the shopping for your neighbours

In Corona times we have all become more social and kinder for our fellow man. I now hear from quite a few people that they do errands for people in their neighbourhood who can’t or don’t dare do it themselves.

I hope that after Corona is long gone, we keep doing these “kind to your neighbourhood” actions.  Because those nice chats, helping people and making them happy, makes us better!

Nowadays, there are apps in which people who need help, put their shopping list and the neighbours do their shopping, while doing theirs. The shopping bags are dropped at the front door and the app even takes care of the payment.

Super-efficient, BUT you miss the nice chat, the warm human contact and the big smiles!

So I prefer the classic shopping-list, even if it is much longer than mine ;-).

Check if there are neighbours in your street who can’t get to the store themselves and do their shopping.
