Invite your neighbours for a drink

Invite neighbours

Just as the tip on the day before yesterday, I couldn’t imagine that in March we wouldn’t have the freedom to invite our neighbours over for drinks. (Unless we split the neighbours up by 4 and stay outside)

We are blessed with good neighbours and that makes us happy.

A friend recently told me that she didn’t know her neighbours at all. ‘That’s easy’, she said, ‘that way I don’t have to waste time on small talk. A friendly nod is enough when we – coincidentally – leave our house together’.

I hardly believed it. After all, it’s so nice to get to know the people who live close to you.  And that doesn’t mean you have to visit each other every day or start an intimate friendship.

Tip for today
Get to know your neighbours (better) and organise a drink for them. I hope you can soon celebrate the end of the C- measures.

If you recognise yourself in my friend, here are some advantages of living in good terms with your neighbours.

A good neighbour makes a big difference in the quality of life. I agree (Robert Fulghum)
