Make a tradition of a ‘first day of school’ picture

Every year at the same place in the same way,  we took a picture on the first day of school.

The kids knew this and posed happily, proud with their new clothes and a full backpack.
Until puberty kicked in. Then it was more like : ‘Ooh gosh, mom, is this REALLY necessary?’
But now they are happy with the pictures that show their growth every year.

Tip for today
From now on, take the same picture every year on the first day of school.

(If you don’t have children or if they left the house already: start a tradition with a selfie of yourself. Always in the same place, in the same position. Nice memories for later)
