Endorse someone on Linkedin

Endorse somebody and make them ahppy

LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network on the internet. A LinkedIn profile allows to share someone’s professional background online, such as your work experience, education, skills, and recommendations. You can add to that profile in a positive way by giving endorsements or recommendations. Having endorsements, also known as social proof, is sometimes vital to success.

Tip for today:
Make someone happy by giving them an endorsement for one or more skills.

Giving an endorsement is easy, just a couple of clicks (see how below this post). You can also give a more valuable recommendation by writing down in your own words why you like(d) working with that person.

How to give an endorsement:

  1. Navigate to the profile of the 1st-degree connection.
  2. Scroll down to the Skills & Endorsements section and locate the name of the skill you’d like to endorse.
    • If your connection has more than three skills listed, click See [number] more skills to see their whole list of skills.
  3. Click the  Add icon to the right of the skill.

How to give a recommendation:

  1. Navigate to the profile of the 1st-degree connection.
  2. Clicking the More… button located in the top right corner of their introduction card.
  3. Select Recommend and start writing. Don’t forget click on the send button.

This is the list with the most in-demand skills for 2020.

So if you know somebody with these skills, you can endorse these skills in particular.
They will be very grateful, especially if they are looking for a job.
