Make cleaning rags from your old T-shirts

Ever wondered what to do with old t-shirts that weren’t good enough to donate or to swap with your friends (see our previous blogpost) ? Here’s a great idea!
Turn them into cleaning rags!
These rags are not only great to use on wood furniture (they won’t leave scratches), but they are also wonderful to clean up paint and spills, polish shoes, removing make-up….
They are much cheaper than those super soft microfiber cloths and a lot better for nature than paper towels (see our previous blogpost about this topic.)
The trick is to keep them close at hand, so you can easily grap them when needed. And because we have plenty of them, I do not mind to throw one out once in a while, when it’s so dirty I don’t want to send it through our washer.
You can keep them as they are, throw them all in a box, to have them handy. But if you want to fold them, it is nice that they all have the same size.
If you do it the way we explain below, your cabinets or drawers will be neatly arranged 😉
