Spread positive gossip

Gossip has a negative connotation. However if we use the definition taken from the fields of sociology and psychology, gossip is, “evaluative talk about a person who is not present.” This definition does not state that the gossip is slanderous or vile about someone. In fact, gossip might even be very positive!

Positive gossip is when information, that could benefit a person or that results in people developing a positive view of that person, is shared.

And if you’re the recipient of this “positive gossip,” don’t let it die with you. Tell the person about whom you heard positive things.  There is no better feeling to know that you are the subject of praise.
