Turn the heating down and wear a thick sweater

Wear a thick sweater

The Flemish Dikketruiendag and the Dutch Warmetruiendag are annual campaigns of respectively the Flemish government and Klimaatverbond Nederland.

Both campaigns want to make people aware of the (consequences of) global warming and let them experience how easy it is to save energy. This will hopefully stimulate people to take a closer look at their energy consumption.

Nature must be laughing with us, because today of all days is one of the coldest days! So not only a warm sweater, but also a warm undershirt will be welcome!

Tip for today
Turn the heating 2° colder.

By the way, did you know that by turning the heat down, everyone can save 6% energy per degree and reduce CO2 emissions. You are doing nature a favour!

All those thick sweater take up a lot of space in your closets. Fortunately, the tidying guru Marie Kondo knows how to deal with this.

And… don’t forget to stroke your clothes with love before folding them 😉 = wise advice from Marie Kondo.
