We are July 21, Belgium’s National Holiday.
If you ask someone about politics in Belgium, you might hear a lot of whining and complaining.
Me, I would never want to be in the shoes of a politician, especially not now.
Although some of them messed up completely, you have to admit that some politicians do make an effort to make a (positive) difference. But we, Belgians, have trouble saying this out loud.
Tip for today:
Let a politician know that he or she really makes a difference and that you appreciate what they do.
I like it when people put things into perspective, especially when they have a lot of negativity around them.
That’s why I had to laugh with Bart de Wever’s New Year’s wishes.
He wishes everybody a great 2020, also to all these nice people sending him lots of love 🤗
