You\u2019re at the office and your suddenly realize that you made a terrible mistake. Fortunately, you can fix it and limit the damage, nobody needs to know. Do your recognize this? First you have a \u00a0mini-panic attack and then finally a sigh of relief.<\/p>\n

\u2018Phew, problem solved\u2019, you think. Or is it?<\/p>\n

Your boss comes walking out of his office angry at you with in his wake that new colleague who wants a promotion at all costs. While you were solving the problem, your nice colleague had already rushed to the boss to inform him of your stupidity. Hateful, right?<\/p>\n

Fortunately<\/strong>, it can also be done the other way around. If you know that your colleague deserves a compliment, then mention this by chance to his\/her supervisor.\u00a0 Bosses and superiors do not always know what goes on on the floor and modest colleagues sometimes miss out on a stroke<\/p>\n

In de tijd dat jij het probleem aan het oplossen was, was je ijverige collega al naar de baas gesneld om hem op de hoogte te brengen van jouw stommiteit. Hatelijk toch?<\/p>\n

Gelukkig kan het ook omgekeerd. Als jij weet dat je collega een pluim verdient, meld dit dan eens langs je neus weg aan zijn\/haar overste. \u00a0Bazen en oversten weten niet altijd wat er zich op de werkvloer afspeelt en bescheiden collega\u2019s ontlopen dan soms een verdiend schouderklopje.<\/p>\n
