It improves your coordination and balance. And it is undoubtedly a pleasant way to help you lose weight and get more energy.<\/p>\n<h5>Dancing improves your mood and reduces stress.<\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Spontaneous body movements such as dancing trigger the body to release dopamine, making you feel good. So if you&#8217;re with something or you&#8217;re under stress, dancing might make you feel better.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">In a study at the University of Derby, psychologists worked with people with depression. The people were taught salsa for nine weeks. At the end of the course the participants said they had fewer negative thoughts, could concentrate better and had a greater sense of calm and tranquility.<\/p>\n<h5>It helps you age gracefully<\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">According to a study in The New England Journal of Medicine, dancing can refresh your memory and prevent you from developing dementia as you get older.<\/p>\n<h5>It has a healing effect on our emotions.<\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Dancing is not only a form of escaping from what is happening around you, but also has a healing effect on our emotions. Why does it do that?
