I think <em>&#8216;oh, she looks good&#8217;<\/em> or &#8216;wow he solved that situation really well&#8217; &#8230; but <strong>I keep it to myself.<\/strong><\/p><p>Afterwards I ask myself. <strong>Why? WHY?<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Is it because I don&#8217;t know that person (well)?<\/li><li>Is it because it might look weird?<\/li><li>Is it because that person might have heard it a thousand times?<\/li><li>Is it because the recipient might feel uncomfortable receiving a compliment?<\/li><li>Is it because I can&#8217;t articulate it well?<\/li><li>Or was I too busy with other things at that moment?<\/li><\/ul><p>Whatever the reason, it&#8217;s really all in my head.<br \/>And that is a shame because giving a compliment only takes a few seconds and it brightens up someone&#8217;s day. Everyone who meets him gets insulted.
