Shop windows: we pass them every day.

Once in a while there is one that catches your eye – and not just because the products attract you.

Retailers go to all this trouble in the first place to attract people to their stores. That, of course, makes perfect sense.

But there are some who do it purely out of passion, because they are proud of their products and of their store. I know a few small stores that come up with whole concepts and spend hours creating it.

And that stands out…. Those windows have just that little bit more.

It makes you happy. Even if you don’t buy anything.

Tip for today
Do not just think to yourself ‘oh what a beautiful window’, but say it out loud to the shopkeeper. That will give them a smile in these difficult times.
